Please explain the following:
Neither player has cards in their hand.
Both players have 2 traps set each and Player B has 1 monster. Player A successfully summons “Chaos Emperor Dragon – Envoy of the End”
and chooses to use its effect.
So now there are 4 traps and 2 monsters on the field.
Now if Player B chooses to use a trap like “Torrential Tribute,” what would be the final result?
What if they use “Ring of Destruction?”
My basic question is what is removed from the field prior to tallying up the damage for CED’s effect.
Torrential Tribute: Both monsters would be destroyed, and then the remaining 4 Traps would be sent to the Graveyard. (1200 damage) CED
--> Torrential Tribute
Ring of Destruction: The targeted monster would be destroyed, and then the remaining monster and the 4 Traps would be sent to the Graveyard.
(1500 damage) CED --> ;Ring of Destruction CURTIS SCHULTZ, 03/11/2004
